Puget Sound Magic
This is the view that greeted me as I arrived at Mukilteo Pioneer Cemetery on June 20, 2017. Knowing this magical light and its relationship to the location of the ferry wouldn't last long, I momentarily put-off my plan to live stream on Periscope, and instead took several photos of this truly shining moment. This, I feel, is the best image of the bunch. I took several more photos as the sun set and twilight. But this also turned out to be the best of the night. It also ranks among my very best photos that I've taken from this favorite location over the years. I just love the way the light paints the water of Puget Sound and the ridges and treetops of Whidbey Island here.
